The Miss Tibet 2010 finale on 6 June at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts began at 7:00 p.m. Entrance ticket was Rs 150.00. The four contestants competed in four rounds — Introduction, Evening gown, Traditional costume and Interview. At the grand finale, Tenzin Norzom, a 23-year-old Shastri degree holder from Varanasi, was crowned the new Kingfisher Miss Tibet 2010.
Tenzin Norzom was born in Hunsur Tibetan settlement in South India, in 1986. She just completed Shastri degree (equivalent to Bachelor of Arts degree) from the Central University of Tibetan Studies in Varanasi.
She speaks Tibetan, English, and Hindi, and likes reading, dancing, badminton, and music.
