My roomie got a job! So this means I get to us the AC, I can watch TV, have the place to myself, walk around buckid nekkid, and use the AC. Beautiful! I also finished my final today in a class where I can NOT stand the teacher, and got an A. Well, we all did 'cause he just stressed us out for days preparing for it, and he didn't even grade our finals, we all got A's. Kinda dislike him even more. So that was bitter sweet.

Also found out that Eyre didn't get the diagnosis she was afraid of getting, Beautiful! They're still not sure what is wrong with my friend, but I'm thinking positive thoughts, and I know she'll be fine.

Last, but not least, today was just a chill day. I finished my last class, I've got a few case studies to do, but I have until Friday to do them, and I'm starting a new term on Tuesday. My new teacher is hot! You may not think he's hot, but I've liked him since the first time I saw him on campus. HTT is hot, but this teach brings more to the table. I also will have Ethics next term. My tech classes make me think, but they're more intuitive, Ethics will actually make me think and study.

Talked to my cuz today, we're actually swapping out vehicles as opposed to her taking the van back. Was so relieved, so school is still on, and so is the job search! whew! Plus it's a Corolla, so it will save me on gas, the van was killing me!

What a week! In a nutshell, I was in danger of not passing my math class, this in turn would have prevented me from moving on to 2nd year with the guys. Putting me off until October to start 2nd year! I had to pass my final tonight. Not only did I pass it, I got a a 98%!! ME?! An A, on a math test?! Never! I seriously do not think I've ever got an A on a math test. So I am extremely relieved, and a bit emotional. There's a lot behind passing my first year. I'm not good at committing to things, which is why I have credits from like 4 different colleges, and have lived in MOST of the Western states this side of the Mississippi river. So to buckle down, and actually complete my first year with an impressive GPA, wow. I'm a bit proud of me.

Thanks to all who have given me such support. I appreciate the "you're smart, Leo" comments, but uh, I don't know. I struggled! lol Now I can show ya how to hustle on the street and turn .50 cents into a dollar, but academic smarts? I'm not sure, street smarts yeah. In any case, first year is over, I'm exhausted from being so tense this week, and not to mention today. I studied for like 5 hours today! Paid off though. So it's time for Beautiful, you normally would get Joseph Sayers on such a milestone event, but I'm too tired to Google any recent pics. :) Oh, and I want to leave you with how I lost 2 points. y= .5 + 2.55 SHOULD HAVE read y= .5x + 2.55 LOL! Isn't that B.S.? I wanted to argue, but uh, I kept my mouth shut, and was just grateful I passed!

Oh to make the ending of my first year even better, I'm spending it with my cuz in S.F. tomorrow! woot woot! Enjoy! ;) peace

Today's Weather...

...was a mix of everything! We had sun, rain, sleet, and hail! Even some funnel cloud sightings! Mother Nature def had some jokes today. So, you get a bit of everything also.

Was a great day at school, all the guys this morning said my presentation was best and theirs sucked, lol, I disagreed. HNM didn't show up for class tonight, but I did find out I have the second highest grade in my night class! I'm only trailing by two points! I'm on it! ;) peace

Today was the last day for this term. So glad it's over. I think I did well on my finals. At least three A's and a B. I have two assignments to turn in, but I have until Sunday midnight to turn those in. The relief I feel is crazy! Next term is my last term of my first year. Then I go to nights in June, which is a requirement for your second year.

My only concern is that next term I have a night class, and I'll have Hot Night Matt and Married Guy in the that class, somehow I need to make it work where I sit next to both of them. I like MG, because he's a good student and helps me out a lot, I also like HNM...well because he's hot. :)

I wasn't able to get SJ in my first period, but that's okay, he's at least still coming back to school, so I'm glad for that.

Goal now, is to finish the assignments and enjoy a school work free weekend! ;) peace

Was such an awesome day! I volunteered to fix Veteran's computers. My friend at school, Cristy, volunteers at the local VFW, and put together this thing where we will tune up your PC for a $30 donation. Well including her, there was only 2 of us who showed up! So overwhelmed, but so loved it. I was rocking!

Listening to the older guys (which, none hit on me #refreshing! Although the older ladies did flirt :p) was so cool. Explaining to people what they needed to do to keep their machines up to date today, awesome. I just loved the whole day. I stayed late after Jessie left, and I'm so glad he stayed as long as he did. So picked his brain on a few things!

The most humbling part was when I pulled in to the parking lot, I kinda wanted to stay home and sleep, but when I pulled up, I saw a vet missing a leg, and my whole attitude changed! I was now gung ho, let's do this! I learned so much today, I got to practice all I learned in school, and meet so many interesting people. They kept calling themselves old! ha! It was just a Beautiful day. I'm so thankful Cristy asked me to be a part of it, and trusted me that I could actually work on these machines.

I tweeted earlier that I felt like somebody, and my "pervy ladies" said I always was (love them), but today, I actually felt like I was. I've never had a title, or been referred to as anything. Today, I was a tech guy. Not to sound vain, but I kinda swelled with pride when someone asked me if I was one "of the technicians". I got to say yes, yes I am. Y'all don't really know where I come from, but for a rez kid from South Dakota, that's a pretty big thing. :)

I'm actually really good at this tech stuff, I get it. I'm good at the customer service part too, it was difficult at first not using "jargon", but I got it down to where I could explain things to people so they understood. I had a former Commander of the VFW computer to work on. It was such an honor for me. He was so patient.

I b*tch about school a lot! I b*tch about a lot of stuff, but today I heard war stories that makes me into nothing but a b*tch! I am so blessed. Everything happens for a reason, and I am so grateful for today. ;) peace

Sorry, been a minute since I've blogged. The tech studying took a lot of my time this past week. I am happy to say, I am certified as a tech support guy! :) I passed my final cert today! Finally! So to celebrate this feat, it's all about Beautiful! ;) peace

Today's Weather...

...was odd. It started out nice and sunny, and then it got weird, like in between humid, cold, hot, gray, sunny! And now it's raining! :( My mood went the same way, I started out optimistic about getting my homework done, then decided I couldn't concentrate so I went and practiced my putting, and then ran some errands. Now I'm just kind of like, now what? Guess I'll check out my YouTube Subscriptions! ;) peace

I'm reading this book by Bart Yates, I think it's his third and it's called the Distance Between Us. I just had to close the book down for the night because I was bawling. I hope to finish it tomorrow (after I do my homework) but he really is such a great author. On that note, I'm not a grammar nazi, or a literary scholar so I don't know if he writes well or not. I do know he makes me laugh, he makes me angry and he makes my cry. For me, that's a good book and you can find beauty in everything, and I find his novels beautiful. ;) peace

Found a room for rent! My friend at school had a friend who was looking for a roomie and it worked out great. Looks like I'll make some new friends and as they are pretty social, fine by me. Oh and I'm out of my school funk. For real this time! I got a lot done today and tomorrow I should be caught up a 100%! hugz ;) peace
