Tease

So today in class I Promoted my DC server, created a user in active directory, connected an XP machine to my domain, created 3 OU's and assigned GPO's for each. Yup! I learned something! Finally! We only have two more weeks of this class though, and I'm just now getting into it, and it's just now getting interesting! Such a tease! ugh! Anyways, I have a lot of homework to catch up on in the next couple days. I'm on it, I'll handle it, I always do. ;) peace

Today's Weather...

...was a mix of everything! We had sun, rain, sleet, and hail! Even some funnel cloud sightings! Mother Nature def had some jokes today. So, you get a bit of everything also.

Was a great day at school, all the guys this morning said my presentation was best and theirs sucked, lol, I disagreed. HNM didn't show up for class tonight, but I did find out I have the second highest grade in my night class! I'm only trailing by two points! I'm on it! ;) peace

Tease

So my presentation is whack. Like, it's bad, I don't even wanna hear that it's not. I know, I didn't put the effort into it. Here is what happened. Last week, we were told to write down 3 topics, a person (could be fictional), a place or event, and something abstract...like, glue. So I picked, Red Cloud (Lakota Chief), Sturgis Rally (event in the Black Hills, I've been), and golf balls. Right? All stuff I'm in to! Well she asked that we hand them in, so we did, and then she re-distributed them back to us randomly!! ugh! I got Matt's, which was Luke Skywalker, Pearl Harbor, and sunglasses. *sigh* We were to pick one topic. I have no interest in any of those! If you don't have interest, it's hard to get into research. So anyways, I thought I'd be creative, and I touched base on all 3 with an emphasis on Pearl Harbor, the city, not the event...because that's just been done too many times. And, I don't know, I don't think it came together at all, and it's lame. Our grading is mostly how WE present it, as opposed to the actual slide show, so we'll see.

Thanks to Becullen from Twitter, it turns out I have a certain pair of shorts that um, well...they represent my "junk" quite well. It's my Twitter avi. *sigh* This blog has just went in a whole new direction. I had no idea, but now that I do know, I'm using it! In any case, so I'm wearing those shorts tomorrow, a tight t-shirt, preferably a bit see through, and will flirt shamelessly with my teacher in the hopes she loses focus on my lame presentation while I'm up there! It's a desperate bid, but my presentation calls for desperate action!

So today I took a tech job (fixing 3 computers), and while I'm glad I did, I shouldn't have done it the weekend before finals! I have so much homework! Hottie is up to something, because he's being nice. SJ is texting me all the time, and my roomie has been drinking wine all night, which means he is talkative! I so thought things were going good, but once again it's a tease at what my life will be like once I'm done with school! ;) peace

Found out today I only have two terms left of my first year!! 12 weeks! Then I can start work, get my own apartment, get a different car (of course I'm keeping the War Pony to fix him up) and just...live. So close, yet so far. ;) peace

So today I didn't go to school, okay don't boo me, I have my reasons and I'm caught up on my school work. I needed a "The Vampire Diaries" day, now that I'm all caught up on the series, it won't conflict with my homework. There is a method to my madness. :) So when I woke up, it was sunny, and then it rained, and then it hailed, and then it was sunny. I was confused. So I was gonna for a walk and I put on a pair of cargo shorts and a sweat shirt and walked out the door and it literally got dark and started hailing! WTF! This isn't a Today's Weather post because the weather was more like a tease! ugh! ;) peace

New Term

I got my schedule for next term, wow. I will be so fricking busy! I have 4 day classes and 1 night class! This is my bad karma coming back for me dropping all my first periods the past 6 months! Although, I don't have a first next term. :) In any case, um...I'm up for the challenge. My tech class will be easy because it's just practicing testing for my A+ cert, so that will help. No homework.

I'm supposed to move into my room I rented tomorrow! So excited, the dude seems cool and I'll see more of Howard out of school, so that's a good thing. I'm hoping this works out, I'll need someplace stable next term, it's going to be a lot of work. I don't need the cosmos teasing me this time! ;) peace

The sun came out today! Well towards the end of the day. I left school to enjoy it, don't judge me for skipping class! haha! I needed it. I'll get it together this week! Unfortunately it's supposed to rain tomorrow. ugh! Tease! ;) peace

So I went to the optometrist today, I thought I needed glasses. I know I need glasses! I thought back to high school when I had to wear them and everyone thought I looked cute and I felt so good about needing glasses again. I'm a Leo, it's all about attention, but I'm not shallow! Although I do get distracted by things that shine and are pretty. That's a whole 'nother blog post. So I go through the tests and I'm thinking of what type of glasses I'm going to get and which ones will look good with my bone structure and I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who is excited about getting glasses! After all of that, I don't need glasses! I do, however, need reading glasses. Which means I can only wear them when I read, only. *sigh* I'm officially old and thought I could wear glasses all the time! Tease. ;) peace
