Had the best weekend to end my first year of school! Yesterday I did San Francisco with my cuz, and today went to a powwow with my other tehansi (cousin). I start second year on Tuesday night, sooo looking forward to it. I have school on Saturdays for the next year, so yesterday made it that more special for me.

Couldn't ask for a better weekend. So tomorrow brings a new day, and I had to use one of my favorite songs and vids, Start of Something Good with the vid by JJ he does such a good job!

I have had this video in my YT queue for awhile, and figured now was the time to post it.
JJ is a true genius with his song choices and editing of hot men! I like this song, I've never heard it before. I usually download the songs that are showcased in his videos. He has a great taste in music! He's how I found the song Lullaby by the Dixie Chicks. It's one of my favorite songs!

For those who have followed me for awhile you know, I adore JJ  he has some channels on YouTube JJTheTrue and  jjsbay. He is such a talented editor, he picks the best songs, the best pictures of hot men and puts them together in a way that makes you kind of go, "wow".
My favorite video of his, is this one. Most of you know that,  I love the song, I love the editing and the story line he creates with his images.

I'll make it work, I always do.

That phrase has gotten me through so much sh*t in my life. It's true though. So I thought I would move into a room for rent this weekend and it didn't work out that way. So I'm kinda screwed because I don't have money for next Monday and Tuesday, get paid on Wednesday. Missing school is not an option. I do have a hotel room until Friday though, so I will be at school each day this coming week. That's what is most important! I dunno, I should feel down, and I had "moments" today, but it will work out and I will make it work, I always do!

Going with a different genre today, I'm going to generalize and say this is a latin song. It's called Historia de un amor by Luis Miguel. It's another video from JJ and it's just so sweet and endearing. He captures the joy and pain of the film. Love it! Hope everyone has a great week! ;) peace

Start of Something Good

I started my day out getting locked in my room! LOL My doorknob has been acting up lately and this morning it decided to completely break, so yeah that's how my day started. I got out through my window ate 6 mini corn dogs with hot sauce and then took the doorknob off. Hopefully I can get a new one this afternoon to put on. I have a quiz tonight and a bunch of tech homework to do! I'm being optimistic that because my day started off kind of sucky, that means it's only going to get better! So of course I have to post my favorite YT video, I mean you just can't have a bad day watching this and if you do, well watch it again! You'll feel better! ;) peace

JJ is amazing.The video actually made me kind of cry. I have been both characters in this movie, needing to be loved and having to love someone who needs to be loved. A great intro and a great ending with the editing and the song selection. I am in awe of his work. Please check him out. You will be pleasantly surprised. I kind of want to say this is my new favorite video of his but I would feel like I'm cheating on this one! lol which is still great...but...not so sure anymore. ;) peace

So tonight is my last night here in Oregon with my brother, today we played golf and I'm gonna be so sore tomorrow! 18 holes with a lot of par 5s and I never get a par 5 in 5, more like 8! lol so yes I'm going to feel it tomorrow! I head back to Sac and then two tests on Tuesday of which I still have to study for. Had a great time this weekend with my brother, so glad I came up! Today's Song is Lady Gaga-Teeth and this video is from JJ, who does amazing work, and what's hotter than vampires? Gay vampires! Enjoy! ;) peace

I love this song, it's so comforting. This is another one of JJ's creations (check him out, you will be on his channel all day) and I've actually posted it before as a Beautiful post for the video, but today I wanted to post it for the song. This video is actually from JJ's gay themed movie channel, once again you'll really want to check it out and see a lot of gay films I didn't know existed. He provides great content for my blog. :)The movie is called Dream Boy by James Bolton, I just requested the book by Jim Grimsley. Love it, Dixie Chicks-Lullaby. ;) peace

And of course Ryan James Yezak and his version (in my opinion the Original Lady Gaga Telephone) music video. I'm not a fan of drag queens, I'm not a fan of Lady Gaga hell I can barely even stand gay people but this video stood out to me because of the work put into it. It wasn't a parody, a spoof, it was a real music video and I supported it all over the web, I logged onto all the sites that had embedded it and left positive comments on the direction of it. Is a great video from a director's point of view. Well done.
