It’s halfway through the NaNoWriMo contest to write a book in a month and was off to a slow start. I struggled through the first act describing my main characters and world they live in. This is something I struggle to do with most of my novels, with THE PIZZA DIARIES it was different because I didn’t write the first act until after I finished the book and even then it was only a couple thousand words, followed by a 60,000 word second act and a 30,000 word third act.
But I’m done with all that and on to the second act with three colorful characters that I now know pretty damn well.
I still haven’t snagged my counter but as of today I’m at the 12,000 word mark that leaves only 38,000 more to go.
